What do you do as a L2 Support Analyst As an Application Support Analyst, you work daily on troubleshooting the software applications, middleware, and customer-facing infrastructure used by GXO. You ensure help desk tickets are resolved promptly. You diagnose bugs and problems affecting user experience and may suggest product enhancements based on your findings. You mainly collaborate with GXO operations (Key Users) and the software development center. Application Support Analyst reports directly to the WMS (Warehouse Management System) platform Lead. The analyst is responsible for analyzing, assigning, and following up on incidents, problems, and service requests within their scope. Analyze, assign, and follow up on incidents, problems, and service requests. Maintain the application systems daily, troubleshooting issues and escalating when necessary. Perform root cause analysis, communicate with management, and manage client relationships in partnership with the IT Service Manager. Ensure all production changes follow lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines. Coach and mentor less experienced team members (Key Users) or act as a subject matter expert. Possess in-depth functional knowledge of supported applications and their interdependencies. Evaluate and maintain high-quality functional IT documentation. Create documentation for the 1st line IT organization (ServiceDesk). Occasionally perform tasks related to TMS, reporting, and EDI besides WMS. Assess the technical and business impact of issues, classify severity, and provide timely resolutions or escalate as needed. Communicate progress proactively to customers and reporters. Participate in project implementation teams for configuration and testing of application functionalities, depending on seniority. What do you have Minimum high school or equivalent educational background. Good knowledge of WMS systems with at least 2 years in a similar role. Independent, analytical, accurate, with a broad overview. Experience in a demanding, fast-paced international environment, preferably in Supply Chain. Knowledge of SQL and ServiceNow. Excellent Italian and English language skills. Strong communication, proactivity, problem-solving, and target orientation. Ability to quickly learn new software applications and technologies. Self-motivated and team-oriented, with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in a matrix environment and establishing effective relationships.
