Overview of the PositionLONGi Storage is a fast‐growing company specializing in advanced energy storage solutions. We are seeking a skilled and motivated field service engineer to join our after‐sales team, focusing on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility‐scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). After‐Sales Service & Support
Provide on‐site commissioning and O&M; services for utility‐scale BESS installations.
Perform functional and acceptance testing with customers.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues within battery packs, power conversion systems and related components.
Act as the primary technical contact for customers after project handover.
Provide training and guidance to customers' operations teams.
Ensure timely, professional communication and customer satisfaction during service interactions.
Prepare detailed service reports including fault analysis, troubleshooting, repair description and technical recommendations.
Provide feedback to the engineering and R&D; teams regarding recurring issues and potential product improvements.
Support warranty management and escalation processes.
Work closely with project delivery, engineering and sales teams to ensure smooth handover from project completion to service phase.
3+ years of experience in after‐sales service, field engineering or systems commissioning – preferably in energy storage, renewable energy sources or power electronics.
Practical knowledge of electrical systems (low/medium voltage), BESS technology, power conversion systems (PCS) and energy management systems (EMS).
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical manuals and engineering documentation.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation or a related technical field.
Fluent English.
Availability for frequent travels.
