Job Purpose As a Maintenance Engineer you will support the production lines at the Caivano factory, ensuring efficient operation, eliminating losses and waste, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and oversee repair and installation activities, balancing preventive and corrective maintenance based on cost/benefit priorities.
Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System (quality, environment, health and safety).
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and programs.
Advance safety improvements and implement UMS Unilever Manufacturing Standards.
Participate in daily Run‑to‑Standard meetings and coordinate root‑cause analysis.
Track metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and monitor upgrade progress.
Support KPI implementation and analyze processing performance data.
Contribute to product and process innovation, supporting new consumer offerings.
Implement digital innovation projects.
Experiences & Qualifications
Engineering Master’s Degree (Industrial or Mechanical preferred).
Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize.
Proactive, self‑motivated team player.
Italian mother tongue, proficient in English.
Fast learner, open‑minded, growth mindset.

Additional Information Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business, expected before the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice‑Cream company.
