Senior Full-Stack Engineer (SvelteKit) - Tech Lead (Remote)
We're supporting one of the top Italian HR Tech start-ups that created one of the most advanced scalable platform in the sector. They enable workflows automation to make better decisions using data and AI. The product is already live, growing, and built with long-term scalability in mind.
They are now looking to hire a Lead Full stack Engineer combining technical leadership with active full-stack development.
The person must be already based in Italy with the possibility to work fully remotely from the country.
What You'll Do
Technical Leadership
* Own system architecture and technical direction.
* Turn vague requirements into clear, documented solutions.
* Set and maintain engineering standards.
* Scale the platform
Full-Stack Development
* Build end-to-end features using SvelteKit, TypeScript, and Node.js.
* Design and maintain production-grade REST APIs.
* Optimize performance, databases, and cloud costs.
Team & Delivery
* Mentor a growing team of 5 engineers and support team growth.
* Establish clean delivery processes: reviews, CI/CD, observability.
Infrastructure & AI
* Own AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
* Build and integrate AI-powered features using modern APIs and LLMs.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
* Experience in a senior or technical leadership role is mandatory
* Fluency in English written and oral is mandatory
* Strong software engineering fundamentals and architectural thinking.
* Experience scaling a platform
* Comfortable owning features end to end, from frontend to infrastructure.
