Role overview
The Product Stewardship Specialist EMEA is part of the global team and plays a key role in providing regulatory information to customers and brand owners across EMEA countries. This is achieved through answering regulatory enquiries and regulatory disclosures for customers, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and accurate flow of information, such that customers and brand owners can evaluate the compliance of their printed articles and packaging when using Sun Chemical products.
Responsibilities
* Provide regulatory statements to customers.
* Respond to regulatory enquiries and regulatory disclosures for customers in support of inks and coatings for food packaging.
* Monitor current and upcoming regulations to provide advice to the business.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, biochemistry, or another scientific degree.
* 2 or more years of relevant chemical regulations and/or applicable regulatory experience.
* Experience of European regulatory compliance work; knowledge of regulations such as REACH, CLP, Food Contact Materials Regulation, Plastics Regulation, and Swiss Ordinance.
* Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize, set timescales, and manage working under pressure.
* Good communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers.
* Proficiency with standard IT software (Office). Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
* Availability to travel within European countries.
* Fluency in English is essential.
* Good German would be beneficial.
