Your opportunity
Automation Technical Support Expert is part of Beverages & Beer Qualification & Technical Support. The job is mostly taking place in the backoffice. Main function is to secure the operational follow up & technical support of EOL beverage products (Pal/Depal beverage), associated trade equipments (Robotic manipulator) and 3rd party line equipments (EOL, conveyor, process equipment...) on automation side. The expert is also part of the team scheduled to validate internally and externally the introduction of modifications and variants and of new products in the portfolio, concerning the automation platform, in coordination with the other relevant teams. He is finally accountable to execute RCA following issue resolution process, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions, interacting with the other specific departments.
Your Mission
1. Execute troubleshooting on equipments, associated trade equipments, line equipments, concerning automation platform;
2. "Act as ""Assessor"" of the FSE/s subject to qualification program during the practical assessment module, mainly at the customer site, releasing the relevant evaluation report on time/in full";
3. Execute validation program for the introduction of modifications, variants, O&U, new products, concerning the automation side;
4. Support the availability of field methods for installation, qualification, technical analysis, repairing and maintenance activities;
5. Secure performances of commercially released equipments and lines, concerning the automation side;
6. Secure the application of automation retrofits on the installed base, where necessary;
7. Be part of hotline team for weekend duties, in case of availability for the service;
8. Execute RCA on automation issues, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions;
9. Increase personal competences on the EoL equipment.;
10. Automation Technical Support Expert Training in the creation, update and revision of technical questionnaires related to FSE Qualification Program;
11. Participate to L3 and L4 equipment FAT, and eventually start up and commissioning;
12. Support FSE during start up and commissioning of L3 and L4 machines;
13. Manage the treatment and the resolution of technical NC and PER through CEP tool.
Your Profile
14. Master or Bachelor Degree, or equivalent
15. English spoken and written a good level of Italian/French an advantage for your best local integration.
16. Mechanical skills on Pal/Depal is a plus
17. Emergency management skills, ability to interact with other teams, dynamism in managing problems with the right priority
18. At least 5 years of technical assistance, field experience or engineering in packaging equipments (automation side)
19. Electrical fundaments (safety equipments, sensors, motion, servo drivers, inverters…)
20. Knowledge of PLC platform (specific knowledge of Siemens S7 SCL-Graph-Awl, B&R, Rockwell Automation is a plus)
21. Knowledge of HMI (specific knowledge of ZenOn, Citec and/or InTouch is a plus) and Motion platforms (specific knowledge of Danfoss, Schneider, B&R is a plus)
22. Application of Root Cause analysis methodology for issue resolution
23. Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
