Position reports to: Production Engineering Manager
Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Production Development Specialist to join our Electrification business. In this position you will be responsible for coordinating project teams.
The work model for the role is: In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
* Analysis of the production processes and study and implementation of improvements with focus on lean manufacturing, automation, and digitalization.
* Preparation of technical specifications finalized to the Purchase Order of new equipment, or modification on the existing automated production lines with technical notes, project data and layout.
* Participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products.
* Problem solving analysis and investigation. Support production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
* Preliminary supplier involvement and co engineering approach. Manage engineering changes impact on existing processes.
* Estimation of Capex for new equipment or improvement on the existing one.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Robotics, Automation, Management, or Industrial Engineering.
* Any experience in production, quality, or design will be considered a plus.
* You have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* You have strong networking and teamwork skills.
* You demonstrate proactivity, teamwork abilities, problem-solving skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
* You are comfortable communicating in both Italian and English, in written and spoken form.
