Maternity cover contract The Governance and Cost Management Specialist plays an important role in ensuring key targets and financial operations are compliant, efficient and aligned with organizational goals. This role is responsible for enforcing governance frameworks, monitoring spend, and driving cost optimization initiatives across departments. Attività: 1. Purchase Requisition Management Identify departmental needs and initiate purchase requisitions. Process detailed requests into the procurement system. Collaborate with managers for approvals and budget alignment. 2. Procurement Officer / Buyer Review approved requisitions and convert them into purchase orders. Ensure timely issuance and tracking of POs. 3. Receiving & Inspection Receive incoming goods or services and inspect for quality and accuracy. Document any discrepancies and coordinate with vendors or procurement. Registry goods receipts in the system to update inventory. 4. Accounts Payable & Invoicing Match purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices - Investigate and resolve mismatches or discrepancies. - Ensure compliance with internal controls and budget policies. 5. Payment Process - Monitor cash out based on vendor terms and cash flow priorities. - Maintain accurate cash reporting. 6. Financial Planning & Analysis - Integrate payment data into cash flow forecasts. - Support monthly reconciliation and reporting activities.
