SUANFARMA is looking for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance & Assets Management team in Rovereto (TN), Italy.
About the Role
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will operate within the Maintenance & Assets Management Department, contributing to the supervision of electrical maintenance activities.
The role involves hands‑on operational activities in close collaboration with Production, Quality, and HSE, as well as technical development, improvement of electrical systems, and the management and maintenance of process instrumentation.
Main responsibilities
* Technical management and supervision of Medium and Low Voltage (MV/LV) electrical power distribution systems.
* Oversight of the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical distribution infrastructures.
* Analysis of system reliability and identification of improvement, revamping, and standardization projects.
* Technical support in the definition of new capital investments, plant modifications, and feasibility studies.
* Collaboration in regulatory compliance and electrical safety verification activities.
* Act as the technical reference for process instrumentation, including sensors, transmitters, actuators, and measurement systems.
* Management and coordination of the calibration process for critical instruments, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements.
* Analysis of deviations related to instrumentation and electrical systems, support to investigations, and contribution to Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
* Active participation in technical improvement projects aimed at increasing plant reliability and performance.
* Definition of technical specifications and support during installation and commissioning phases.
* Close collaboration with Production, Quality, HSE, and Engineering departments on cross‑functional initiatives.
* Participation in the technical governance of external contractors (electrical contractors, instrumentation specialists, service providers).
* Technical verification of activities performed, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety procedures.
* Support to the technical evaluation of suppliers and quotations.

Profile and Qualifications
* University degree in: Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering or related disciplines
* Strong interest in industrial electrical systems and automation.
* Knowledge of low and medium voltage (LV/MV) electrical systems, process instrumentation and industrial maintenance principles.
* Good familiarity with technical documentation.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
* Good understanding of preventive, predictive, and improvement‑oriented maintenance principles.
* Good knowledge of standard office automation tools and a strong inclination toward new technologies.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders, a proactive and results‑oriented approach, a strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to operate effectively in cross‑functional and multidisciplinary environments, demonstrating technical ownership, critical thinking, and curiosity in thoroughly and accurately exploring and gathering information.
* Italian: native or fluent
* English: B2 level or higher

* Familiarity with regulated industrial environments (pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or similar industries).
