The Job’s Mission:
As a Workshop Technician you will primarily be responsible for the correct test and repair of Stryker equipment, as well as movement of stock between repair status areas, handling of incoming calls into the department, restocking of consumables and liaising with the Customer service team.
You will also utilize a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and problem-solving abilities to facilitate the fast turnaround of both the quality checking of loan equipment and the repair of items that have failed in the customer environment.

What you will do
1. Manage daily workload within the workshop to meet demand plans and customer needs with minimal supervision
2. Ensure that all repairs are evaluated and completed in a timely manner
3. Work with the Customer services Department to schedule the quality checking of all capital equipment
4. Responding to customer and internal queries in a timely, efficient and professional manner
5. Provide reporting and documentation on all aspects of work within the workshop
6. Assist with ERP Data entry, quoting and repair of customer equipment
7. Maintain technical competency through regular and frequent attendance at appropriate courses of further vocational study and continuing professional development
8. Ensure that Health & Safety standards and requirements are met at all times by the Supplier, its employees, servants and agents
What you need
9. Fluent in Local Language as well as minimum level of English
10. Educational requirements per country specific regulations
11. Educated to degree level is preferable with experience in at least one of the following:
Biomedical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Service and maintenance of medical equipment
12. Previous experience of maintenance and repair of medical equipment
13. Full Driver’s license
14. Experience in a technical / engineering role, ideally in the hospital / medical environment
