Your impact Within our Piping Department in the Italy office, we are looking for a Senior Piping Coordinator. Main responsibilities include: Ensure project completion within the MHRs budget, schedule & quality targets; Contribute to the development and growth of team members; Contribute to the continual improvement of productivity and quality; Prepare work instructions, procedures, and guidelines; Ensure 3D design compliance with modelling conventions, including correct use of tools, application of correct LODs, and adherence to company best practices; Coordinate 3D design activities with in-house staff and external entities; Produce drawings/models or schedule extractions for submissions, if required; Resolve daily modeling and systems coordination issues; Represent the team/group in internal and external meetings; Lead and participate in 3D model reviews for piping systems; Possess deep knowledge of piping layout, pipe routing, support design, stress analysis, MTO, material requisitions, bid evaluation, and BIM best practices; Experience in leading piping teams for FEED and detailed engineering projects; Good knowledge of manpower planning, scheduling, and man-hour estimations; Analyze design changes and estimate their impact on project schedule; Develop external relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, promoting client service excellence. Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; Minimum 15 years of experience in piping within a well-structured organization; Management training or certification; Strong organizational skills for managing multiple activities and meeting deadlines; Excellent communication skills in English and very good Italian (at least B2); Innovative thinking to add value and optimize designs; Leadership and troubleshooting skills; Practical experience in field and revamp projects; Willingness to travel briefly. Preferred Experience in chemical, biotech, or pharmaceutical piping systems; Proficiency in Navisworks, Bluebeam, Autodesk Plant 3D; Knowledge of ISO Quality Management procedures.
