Ph3About The Role /h3 pICS Milan is seeking a proactive, approachable and service-oriented IT Support Technician to join our school-based IT team. /p pThis is a full-time, on-site position focused primarily on supporting teaching staff and classroom technology. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for technical issues and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our international school environment. /p pThis role requires daily interaction in English. A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills are essential. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide first-line, on-site IT support to teaching and administrative staff /li liRespond promptly and professionally to technical issues /li liSupport classroom technology, including interactive displays, projectors and teacher devices /li liTroubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues /li liInstall, configure and maintain Windows-based workstations /li liProvide basic support for Apple devices (Mac and iPad) /li liCoordinate with external IT providers when necessary /li liContribute to maintaining a stable and efficient IT environment /li /ul h3We Are Looking For a Candidate Who /h3 ul liHas previous experience in IT support or technical assistance roles /li liIs comfortable interacting daily with teachers and non-technical users /li liDemonstrates patience, approachability and a calm attitude under pressure /li liHas excellent communication and interpersonal skills /li liIs confident entering classrooms and providing support during lessons /li liHas solid knowledge of Windows environments (Microsoft 365, Active Directory) /li liHas basic understanding of networking (LAN, WiFi) /li liHas a high level of spoken and written English (essential requirement) /li liWorks well in a team and maintains a proactive and solution-oriented mindset /li /ul pExperience in an educational or international environment is an advantage but not essential. /p h3What We Offer /h3 ul liPermanent full-time contract /li liOn-site position in Milan /li liInternational working environment /li liImmediate start preferred /li /ul h3Safeguarding Statement /h3 pICS Milan is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
