Overview Within MS Product Division, you’ll be part of a cross-disciplinary, Agile team designing, implementing, validating, and maintaining mechanical subsystems for current and future printers. You’ll have the opportunity to work with talented engineers on complex products, from proof of concept to production, across a variety of printing technologies to meet customer needs and the strategic objectives of MS Printing. What you will do: Perform and lead CAD design, engineering computations, simulations, and mechanical engineering related lab experiments in support of design validation and reliability goals Bring strong technical expertise during design reviews and problem-solving activities Deploy state-of-the-art mechanical engineering development practices Follow and drive improvement of best practices and tools to improve team efficiency, effectiveness, and mechanical subsystem quality Use outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with third-party engineering partners and suppliers What you need to have: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in various mechanical engineering R&D roles within an industrial environment Experience designing industrial products from concept through production Experience in a mechanical workshop Very good knowledge of materials requirements Knowledge of marking and coding equipment is a plus, but not required Proven experience in CAD design (Creo Direct/Windchill is a plus) Thermal/flow/pneumatics/electro-mechanical testing; experience with FEA/CFD analysis is a plus Experience working with SAP is a plus Excellent Italian and English language skills are a must What we offer: National Mechanical Confapi collective agreement-based contract Health care (EBM Salute) Professional and extra-professional insurance Company onsite canteen Growth opportunities & international environment Referral bonus You’ll only be the right candidate if you are aligned to our values and culture: Winning through customers High ethical standards, openness and trust Expectations for results Respect and value people If you believe you match our values and have the experience we’re looking for, then apply!
