We are supporting an international investment platform in its expansion into Italy, focused on the acquisition of vertical B2B software companies.
This is a greenfield initiative in Italy, and the selected candidate will take a leading role in building and executing the local acquisition strategy from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and originate acquisition opportunities
* Build and manage relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, advisors and industry intermediaries
* Lead initial outreach, negotiations and commercial discussions
* Drive transaction execution in coordination with a central analysis and back-office team based in Madrid
* Develop and manage a proprietary pipeline of acquisition targets
* Act as the local M&A reference
Candidate Profile
* 6–10 years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking or corporate development
* Proven track record of sourcing and closing transactions
* Strong understanding of the local technology/software ecosystem
* Well-established network within the local deal environment
* Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate independently in a start-up/greenfield context
* Mother tongue: Italian with fluent English and not necesary but we value Spanish
