Ph3Job Description /h3 pREPORTS TO: Direct Procurement Cluster Lead, TAPI Italy Mexico /p h3Job Purpose /h3 pThe Direct Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to secure high-quality, cost-efficient materials and services essential to the organization’s operations. This role involves supplier selection and management, contract negotiations, and ensuring procurement aligns with the company’s goals of efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. The Direct Procurement Manager will drive continuous improvements of procurement processes and will lead local initiatives while fostering strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOperational Efficiency : Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management, to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. /li liSupplier Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key local and global suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and favorable terms. /li liDevelop and manage sourcing strategies for critical raw materials used in API manufacturing, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. /li liMonitor global supply trends and risks related to raw materials to ensure continuity and resilience in the supply chain. /li liCompliance and Risk Management : Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Manage risks associated with supply contracts and agreements. /li liEnsures the implementation of global and local initiatives. /li liIdentifies opportunities to consolidate locally managed categories at the country-wide level, in alignment with the Global Procurement Policy and Global Procurement Category Management. /li liEnsures realization of the savings targets for the category / site. /li liNegotiation and Contract Management : Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. /li liCross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. /li liStakeholder Management : Manage, engage and influence key stakeholders. /li liDrives continuous improvement of Direct Procurement processes. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Professional Profile /h3 ul li5-7 years experience in Pharma, API, Intermediates, Raw materials Direct Procurement. /li liMaster's degree in natural sciences, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology or equivalent is mandatory.
