PJob Description Summary The Control Systems Senior Engineer within Controls, Accessories and Marine engineering section, is considered a senior role within the business. You are expected to be an individual with deep technical capability within controls system with a strong emphasis on applications. /ppIn this role you will take ownership of the control system design, development and validation to meet detailed customer needs. Job Description /ppManage with high degree of autonomy the identification and consolidation of requirements for the Controls System by applying control theory and mathematical modeling /ppBe responsible for defining, developing and validating the architectural and functional concepts to implement the previously identified requirements on system and subsystem level /ppMaster the control theory and mathematical modeling to design and control systems with desired behaviors /ppEnsure and drive the adherence to GE’s development process including support for internal and external process audits /ppFormulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments /ppLead the communication with the SW team in implementing the concepts in software /ppbQualifications / Requirements /b /ppMaster’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology or a comparable subject /ppExtensive experience in system design in highly complex control systems in the industrial, automotive, medical, or aerospace sectors /ppStrong experience with system engineering principles, e.g. V-lifecycle process including requirements engineering, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methods, tools, validation verification principles (keywords : DOORS, SCADE, Matlab\Simulink, Synergy, Python, NPSS, C++) /ppUnderstanding of engine and propeller controls principles /ppFluency in Italian and English /ppDocumented exposure to the Regulation Standard /ppProven experience in multinational companies /ppSolid oral and written communication skills. /ppWork Visa and Italian citizenship, according to local regulation, is required /ppDesired Characteristics /ppProven leadership skills /ppbDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. /b /ppStrong problem-solving approach and demonstrated ability to connect horizontally with other roles / functions /ppDocumented exposure to the Aviation Regulation Standard /ppWhat we offer /ppbSmart working and work life-balance /b /ppAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
