Main responsibilities:
- Defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements for the system
- Integrating the system into the train, mechanically and electrically
- Defining the mechanical and electrical interfaces for the system
- Verifying the system focusing on train level, including Design Reviews
- Data preparation
- Change and configuration management process for the system
- Control of implementation after design changes, including impact analysis
- Planning and follow up of all activities linked to the system
- Support sourcing, suppliers, PUs (Participating Units), S&A; (Schematics and Apparatus) Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, RAMS engineers, and Validation Engineers
- Providing inputs to the engineering team, to sourcing and to internal and external suppliers
Knowledge & Experience:
Experienced engineer: 3-year experience in Signaling area in the rail business, specifically for Italy
Understanding of the system engineering process
Mastering of system engineering methodologies
Fluent English
