Yard Project Construction Manager
, you will join our OFPROFE in the business line ABSER, Ensure the execution of Project Fabrication production activities, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, making sure that safety, quality, time, cost and yields requirements are met.
The manufacturing yards are located abroad (Brazil, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Africa, etc.).
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
Participate to the coordination of production project activities in yard, ensuring correct information flow between Yard Project Managers and Production department
Support Yard Project Managers in the identification of technical solutions
Represent Production during interactions with client
Promote project safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety and quality standards are respected
Participate in project planning and scheduling, liaising for this purpose with other organizations and functions involved in executing the project and assuring the most suitable solutions in terms of construction methods
Plan and control project production tools, equipment and personnel needed to execute fabrication projects' activities, ensuring overall resource optimization activities
Prepare project production personnel mobilization plan
Participate to the updating of project work schedules
Assure that the project procedures defined for site activities are applied
Supervise the project works performed by both subcontractors or in direct hiring, approving production work progress
Check project production work progress, identifying any critical aspects and, where construction activities are subcontracted, requesting necessary actions from the subcontractor concerned
Assist the Commissioning department during project commissioning and start-up phases (when applicable)
Contribute to continuous improvement process through the provision of suggestions regarding methodologies, tools, material management
Optimize project layouts, material flow and workplace ergonomics
Participate in the definition of project production and maintenance plan interacting with responsible department
Identify project criticalities during yard activities, promote and implement all required countermeasures quantifying impact in term of cost and schedule
Manage project warehouse material
What are we looking for?
Education:
bachelor or high school degree
Experience:
10/15 years as a Construction Manager within experience in Oil & Gas Industries
Languages:
English (B2/C1)
Technical Skills:
Ensure project coordination of all disciplines involved in the work up to Precommissioning / Mechanical Completion
What else should you know?
You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the technical support office as matter expert on assigned project.
Location: International fabrication yards.
