You will develop your career in our engineering department, contributing to defining and implementing a robust, reliable cloud solution and championing DevOps culture and practices throughout our engineering teams, proportional to your level of experience. You will write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and develop application deployment automation using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools. You will implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling. Our core software engineering department is based in Lucca, where all teams work closely together on developing products for industries such as banking, insurance, automotive, and food and beverage. We strongly believe in Agile methodologies, leveraging teamwork, self-organization, and proactivity, as the best solutions come from collective intelligence and collaborative decision-making. Responsibilities: Contribute to designing and implementing our Cloud platform infrastructure. Maintain and evolve our internal cloud platform to improve reliability, scalability, and observability. Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools and services. Design and implement infrastructure, systems, and tools used by our engineering teams for development, deployment, and monitoring. Manage our observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and tracing. Automate application deployment using industry-standard tools. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify resource needs and implement automated, scalable provisioning workflows using cloud-native best practices. You may work in hybrid mode at our Lucca office or remotely within Italy if you are based far from the location. What should you bring to CCH Tagetik, part of Wolters Kluwer? Extensive knowledge and experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure. Google Cloud Platform is a plus. Experience working with Kubernetes in development and production environments. Experience designing, deploying, and engineering cloud-native microservices within Kubernetes and containerized environments. Understanding of architectural patterns, security best practices, and industry standards for cloud services. Strong understanding of network topologies, deployment methods, and constraints in the cloud. Experience with IAC tools (Terraform). Experience with monitoring platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch). Experience with source control management tools (Git). Experience with CI/CD platforms and GitOps tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD). Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Experience as a DevOps or SRE (Site Reliability Engineer). Teamwork attitude, enthusiasm, passion, flexibility, autonomy, and proactivity. Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English. Preferred additional knowledge: Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks. Familiarity with managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS).
