Embedded Linux Software Engineer at TXT GROUP
Overview
As part of its Embedded Systems Business Unit, TXT e-Tech is looking for an Embedded Linux Programmer with C/C++ skills for software development activities in the field of avionics sensor systems. The candidate will be involved in the development of applications, libraries, and Linux kernel modules, including both algorithmic and driver aspects, with technical documentation in Doxygen format.
Responsibilities
* Software development in C/C++ for Linux embedded systems
* Design and implementation of applications, libraries, and kernel modules
* Drafting of technical and development documentation
* Support for internal and customer reviews, both Italian and international
* Collaboration with the team for integration and testing of developed components
Required technical skills
* Excellent knowledge of C and C++
* Experience in embedded software development on Linux operating systems
* Proficiency with development tools (Eclipse, CMake, gcc, Doxygen, etc.)
* Ability to write efficient and performance-optimized code
* Experience in preparing development documentation
Optional technical skills
* Experience in avionics, aerospace, or safety-critical fields
* Knowledge of certified development standards (e.g., DO-178C)
Education
* STEM degree (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent skills)
Soft skills
* Operational autonomy and ability to work collaboratively in a team
* Willingness to travel occasionally in Italy and abroad
* Good/excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
