Role Overview
In this role, you will lead and execute Design for Additive and prototyping tasks to ensure the full producibility of the assigned hardware. You will work in a dynamic, innovative environment to mature and exploit this disruptive technology.
Responsibilities
* Execute assigned design for additive projects to advance additive manufacturing technology readiness.
* Optimize designs to meet manufacturability targets.
* Ensure proper documentation of technical data in line with engineering policies.
* Assist in approving additive producible solutions considering the entire manufacturing process.
* Design parts with additive logic and develop related business cases.
* Support the development of the additive technology roadmap, including material development and post-processing technologies.
* Provide feedback to improve design processes based on lessons learned.
* Support other engineering tasks and participate in technical reviews.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
* Experience in design for additive for aeronautic components.
* Proficiency in producing clear technical reports.
* Experience with CAD modeling, preferably Unigraphics.
* Knowledge of aeronautical engine layout and mechanical systems.
* Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
* Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively.
* Work visa as per local regulations.
