Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Service Team Leader.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day you will deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers and showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of your area of responsibility.
Work model: Onsite.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. You will be accountable for:
* Performing service tasks, working with our Drive Service team, identifying technical issues, and performing maintenance, reconditioning, and repair activities on drive products.
* Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality.
* Executing work ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards.
* Following service procedures and requirements: safety, registration, report, installed base management.
Qualifications for the Role
* High school diploma or degree in Electromechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
* Knowledge of inverters and drive systems.
* Comfortable communicating in Italian and English.
* Fast‑learning mindset, curious approach, good problem‑solving skills.
