The role collaborates with Business Development, Operating Units, Enterprise Accounts, and other departments within Medtronic. In this role, you will analyze financial data and trends, prepare reports, perform variance analyses, develop financial models, and support cross-departmental financial planning and forecasting. The position requires working in the NGC Medical office in Turate (Como) 3 days a week, offering significant flexibility.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support, including developing and automating dashboards and tools to enhance financial visibility and data accuracy (e.g. PowerBI)Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviewsEvaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecastsGuide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and proceduresSupport business development initiatives through financial analysisDevelop financial forecasts and track key performance indicators (KPIs)Contribute to the design and implementation of financial projects
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA (Master of Business Administration /Certified Public Accountant) is a plus2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a multinational environmentStrong understanding of financial statements and accounting principlesProficient in Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical and problem‐solving skillsFluent in Italian and English with strong communication abilitiesDetail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in teams
