Overview
Environmental Engineer - Bozzolo (Mantova) at Saipem. Saipem is a global leader in engineering and construction for energy and infrastructure, with a focus on environmental sustainability and a path toward Net Zero. The role reports to the HSE Infrastructure Manager and is part of the HSE Function within the HSE Infrastructure Department. Location: Bozzolo (Mantova).
For a recent project in Bozzolo (Mantova) in the Infrastructure sector, you will support management in verifying proper implementation of the environmental policy and achieving the project environmental objectives. You will be responsible for drafting, verifying, distributing, updating, and controlling the Environmental Management System (EMS) as it relates to environmental aspects.
Responsibilities
* Verify and issue documentation and revisions of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in compliance with UNI ISO 14001:2015.
* Verify and issue the Periodic Environmental Report on EMS activities and results.
* Report environmental criticalities to the Technical Director (DT) and environmental delegate based on verification and audits.
* Support the design phase to update the Environmental Monitoring Plan.
* Produce Environmental Site Plans (PAC).
* Update the Land Use Plan (PUT).
* Support the HSEQ Training Coordinator in planning and delivering training on EMS procedures and establish training initiatives.
Qualifications
* Education: Degree in Engineering.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental control/systems.
* Languages: English (B1-B2).
* Technical Skills: 40-hour EMS Auditors Course. Experience in Railway and Highway Infrastructure sectors in environmental control/systems.
