About the Role:
We are pleased to offer recurrent job opportunities for passionate Engineering Graduates. We are continuously recruiting talents for the position of Shift Operative Leader at our plants in Northern Italy (Alba CN or Pozzuolo Martesana MI).
This role is the starting point for an exciting career in our Operations department, helping you develop both technical and managerial skills for a promising future at Ferrero.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Shift Operative Leader, reporting to the Production Unit Manager, you will oversee activities in Production and Human Resources management.
You will support production execution, coordinate the line team in operational tasks, and ensure optimal use of resources such as materials, methods, labor, and machinery during your shift.
Your responsibilities include preparing and starting up lines, managing interruptions, slowdowns, or breakdowns in collaboration with Maintenance, and allocating resources effectively. You will also assist in developing the merit plan for the Production Unit Manager.
Maintaining safety standards related to food hygiene and workplace safety is essential, along with supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Who we are looking for:
You should have a Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with some initial experience (1-2 years) in manufacturing environments.
You will contribute to the team with your understanding of production processes and your interpersonal and management skills.
Having an interest in international mobility and a passion for the Food sector are valuable assets.
Fluency in both Italian and English is required to communicate effectively in our environment.
This role involves working on shifts.
