The role focuses on supervision and continuous improvement of all aspects of airline ground operations at the assigned market, with key priorities on time performance, safety and product consistency. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEstablish and apply systematic supervision of on time performance results at the assigned markets. /li liConduct thorough delay management that ensures full and clear understanding of all sporadic or systematic delay triggers, identifying and implementing appropriate corrective measures for their rectification. /li liConduct, lead and develop the process of investigation, analytics and feedback collection in the area of on-time performance with aim to ensure adequate level of understanding of delay impact drivers and their corresponding mitigation measures. /li liMaintain oversight of deviations from standards and lead the process of identifying and applying systematic improvements. /li liTake lead in coordinating and managing that the airline customers affected by flight disruptions receive all due care and service at the lowest possible cost for the airline. /li liSupport Ground Operations department in assigned general business support or update tasks. /li liEnsure highest standard of service in the area of safety, security, and compliance in ground operations activities at the assigned markets. /li liOversee start-up operations for new stations and bases, capacity increases, and alternate/diversion arrangements. /li liCoordinate and manage ground handling suppliers and airport companies to deliver targeted outcomes in safety, cost control, and operational performance. /li liOwn and maintain any business relationships corresponding to the position, including airport authorities, ground handling providers, state departments, third party providers and stakeholders. /li liEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient day-to-day operations, focusing on safety, on-time performance, disruption management, and customer care. /li liWhen requested conduct station visits, audits, inspections, and training sessions as follow-up for outstanding items (e.g., Air Safety reports, audit findings). /li liLiaise with Safety, Security, and Compliance Managers on related ground operations matters. /li liOverseeing performance of certain flights, assisting in reaching the desired quality of handling. /li liPreparing reports on the station’s performance in key areas. /li liConducting inspections and daily checks on airports in the assigned Region. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 p3-5+ years overall working experience, with 3+ years of relevant experience in ground handling, airport operations or airline operations. /p h3Hard Skills /h3 ul liComputer proficiency /li liAbility to work with different DCS /li liAviation and airline business awareness /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s or Master’s Degree /p h3Language /h3 ul liFluent spoken and written English /li liItalian language is a must /li /ul h3Skills And Competencies /h3 ul liPeople management skills /li liStrong interpersonal and organizational skills /li liSolid decision-making abilities /li liAbility to work well under pressure /li liMS Office, with focus on Excel and Power Point applications /li /ul pWhen applying, please only provide valid information regarding your educational background and certificates, as the original documents will be requested during the hiring process. /p pWe look forward to meeting you and learning more about your skills and experience.
