Sr. Ops Associate, Seller Inventory Management Services (SIMS)
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic, and analytical candidate with a strong ability to solve problems, simplify processes, and execute in the areas of supply chain, inventory management, and operational excellence in Amazon India business. This role supports the team working with sellers to improve their success on Amazon by building and nurturing operational partnerships. The associate will help create an engaging experience for seller partners by driving issue resolution promptly, identifying improvement opportunities in supply chains, creating solutions, and proactively addressing potential issues.
This position requires strong self-motivation, self-starting, and multi-tasking skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with sellers, Amazon operations, and planning and operations managers to resolve day-to-day inbound operation problems.
Key job responsibilities
* Ensure seller/vendor operational performance aligns with targets
* Identify and articulate the strategic importance of metrics for managing tradeoffs, improving customer experience, and decision-making with stakeholders
* Collaborate with vendor operations to reduce cost-to-serve, lead time, and waste across the supply chain
* Define, prioritize, and monitor programs/projects to achieve timely delivery of targets
* Create and review business cases, perform research and analysis, write specifications, and manage product development schedules from strategy to execution
* Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL, or other systems
* Monitor project execution to ensure quality and adherence to timelines, maintaining overall program integrity
About the team
The SIMS team supports sellers in navigating Amazon's systems, enhancing seller and customer experiences. Responsibilities include supporting inbound management processes, gathering insights, guiding sellers towards self-sufficiency, and leading process improvement projects. Active stakeholder communication is expected. This role combines hands-on seller support with strategic initiatives to streamline processes, improve seller performance, and enhance customer satisfaction on Amazon.
