Digital iCargo Application Analyst
We are searching for an experienced Digital iCargo Application Analyst
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To support the growth of MSC Air Cargo activities, we are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Digital iCargo Application Analyst who will be focused on the management and optimization of the iCargo application within the organization. The person will be responsible for overseeing the application’s functionality, serving as the primary point of contact for internal queries, coordinating change requests, and liaising with the vendor for issue resolution and other topics.
The position will be localized in Europe (Switzerland, Italy or Germany).
As an iCargo Application Analyst, you will oversee:
1. System Ownership and Administration : Acts as the responsible person and administrator of the iCargo application, ensuring its optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
2. Super User and SME: Functions as the super user and subject matter expert of the iCargo application, providing in-depth knowledge and insights to internal teams.
3. Internal Support : Serves as the first point of contact for all internal inquiries related to the iCargo application, offering guidance and support as needed.
4. Change Management: Collects and coordinates change requests for the iCargo application, assessing impact and feasibility, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
5. Issue Resolution : Works closely with the vendor to resolve any application issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions are implemented.
6. Training and Documentation: Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation for the iCargo application and provide training to users to ensure effective and efficient use of the system.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborates with various departments to understand their needs and ensure the iCargo application effectively supports business processes.
Required Qualifications:
8. 2-4 years of experience in application management, preferably with iCargo or similar logistics/cargo management systems.
9. In-depth understanding of iCargo functionalities and ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues is a plus.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various levels of the organization.
12. Experience in managing vendor relationships and coordinating with external parties for system support.
13. Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
14. Knowledge of the air cargo or logistics industry is required.
15. English mandatory, French and/or Italian a plus.
16. You are dynamic, proactive, and comfortable working in an ever-changing environment of a startup business.
