As a Composite Department Manager, you will be part of our international team in Fano which is currently made of 36 driven individuals coming from different paths of life/backgrounds and countries. We also believe in having lots of fun! - The role is responsible for management of a production team in the composite department to ensure ongoing business improvement through: Cost Reduction, Process Developments, Quality and internal organization._ _ As a Composite Department Manager your responsibilities are:_ - Construction and control of high performance components in composite material, using different processes like infusion and manual lamination. This includes effective people management (internal and external firms), training, development, performance and planning. - Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing standards, efficiency of engineering costs (materials and labor) and quality, ensure and respect engineering integrity. - Produce weekly reports, in accordance with the production plan and with the technical definition. - Identify production problems by facilitating/using the corrective technical actions necessary for problem solving, in agreement with the production manager and the technical office. - Define the internal weekly program in compliance with the general plan, and manage the resources (Foreman, Team Leader, external resources) and also the entire internal department (warehouse, lamination, finishing, bodywork). - Constant control for all components in compliance with decisions, data sheets, timing, quality. - Collaborate with all company departments (production manager, technical office, administration, human resources, safety, etc.). _ As a __Composite Department Manager__ __at SILENT-YACHTS you will be offered:_ - A very interesting, varied and challenging position in a highly innovative yacht company - The opportunity to work for the industry's leading brand - An appreciative and familiar working atmosphere with mínimal bureaucracy, flat hierarchy and short decision-making processes - The perspective to grow in a game changer company - Yearly team event - Competitive salary - An unlimited employment contract _ Requirements:_ - You are definitely a match if you_ - have significant and demonstrable experience managing teams of Composite Manufacturing, including a track record of improving quality, reducing cost and other associated improvements in projects. - have the ability to solve problems and provide robust solutions to problems. - have the ability to manage multiple complex assignments and priorities to achieve results. - have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage and share relevant information, ideas and plans at all levels of the business. - have in depth working knowledge of manufacturing processes and methodologies relating to composites within the naval domain. - have experience of managing New Product / Process Introduction (industrialization) - are fluent in Italian - Ideally you_ - have program management skills - have familiarity with project manufacturing processes and methodologies relating to assembly of naval structures If you are ready to work with us as a team to further push our vision of sustainable yachting, we truly look forward to welcoming you aboard of SILENT-YACHTS.
