Chief technician (transmission systems/power equipment) for nato with secuirity clearance

PpWe are seeking a hands‑on Chief Technician to provide unit‑level maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support for microwave radio transmission systems and associated power equipment at a NATO SATCOM site in Lughezzano, Italy. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOperates and performs unit level troubleshooting and maintenance of the assigned microwave radio equipment and associated ancillary equipment, like multiplexers, channel banks, interface/adapter devices. /li liManages detailed testing procedures to localize and diagnose causes of equipment malfunction or failure. /li liTroubleshoots and restores repaired microwave radio equipment to ensure channel and link parameters are met. /li liCarry out other duties as directed /li /ul h3Essential Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liBasic knowledge on the microwave systems, wave guides and parabolic antennas. /li liBasic knowledge on Digital Line of sight (DLOS) systems. /li liBasic knowledge on the TCP/IP protocol and IP management concepts. /li liMinimum three years related professional experience on radio frequency communications systems. /li liBasic knowledge on Data Communications concepts. /li liBasic knowledge of the PCM and TDM technology. /li liBasic knowledge on the modulation/demodulation techniques. /li liPrevious experience on the use of data analyzer test equipment. /li liMinimum three years related professional experience in the communications system field. /li liHigher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training leading to a formal technical or professional certification with 4 years function related experience, or a Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 6 years post‑related experience. /li liAdvanced English skills /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
