PpAs an Applications Engineer within our global manufacturing organization, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, high-quality solutions to our customers. You will serve as a technical liaison between customers, sales, product managers, customer support, engineering, and operations teams worldwide, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed expectations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, is passionate about customer experience, and is driven to deliver results in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPartner directly with customers to understand their needs, define product requirements, and identify opportunities for innovation and future development. /li liTranslate customer specifications into actionable engineering solutions, ensuring designs are cost-effective, manufacturable, and aligned with performance standards. /li liLead application engineering efforts, including product validation, testing, and documentation. /li liProvide technical support to internal teams including marketing, sales, engineering and manufacturing, ensuring alignment across all phases of the product lifecycle. /li liManage requests for Engineering Action (REAs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and deviations with accuracy and timeliness. /li liEvaluate and recommend materials, components, and processes to enhance product performance and profitability. /li liWorking closely with customers to provide customized solutions with a win-win approach to maximize the value add through our engineering solutions to differenciate from competitions /li liProvide accurate and timely quotations to customers /li liDeliver technical training and support to customers and internal stakeholders. /li liCollaborate across global teams to drive continuous improvement and share best practices. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. /li liMinimum 3-5 years of experience in applications or product engineering, preferable in a manufacturing or electromechanical environment. /li liExperience in customizations engineering, customized solutions, prototypes, quotations is preferred. /li liExperience in linear motion products, lead screw, stepper motor, linear actuators, rotary motors, brushed and brushless DC motors, linear rail and guide systems, motion systems is a plus /li liFluency in English required; additional language skills relevant to markets are a plus. /li liStrong knowledge of manufacturing methods, electromechanical systems, and engineering design principles. /li liProficiency in MS Office; experience with SolidWorks is a plus. /li liExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and cultures. /li liA proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. /li liA customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and technical solutions. /li liWillingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally. /li /ul pAMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7.0 billion.
