Cantine PRO.VI.MA. (PRODUTTORI DI MATELICA 1932), the oldest winery in Matelica, has been producing high-quality wines since 1932. Located in the inland Marche Region, the cooperative comprises over 80 vine growers managing 130 hectares of vineyards, with all wines being produced and bottled in its historic facility. Specializing in Verdicchio di Matelica DOC, the winery offers a diverse range from classic young wines to aged fine DOCG options, as well as robust red wines from Merlot and Sangiovese grapes. Known for blending modern technologies with traditional practices, Cantine PRO.VI.MA. is dedicated to highlighting the unique terroir of Matelica, including organic wine offerings introduced from the 2017 vintage.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Matelica and Fabriano for a professional in the back office of a viticulture-focused operation. Responsibilities include managing administrative processes, overseeing customer and supplier documentation, supporting sales and customer service operations, and coordinating communication between internal departments and external clients. The role also involves assisting with financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing support in sales-related activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back Office Operations, including administrative tasks and organizational skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Knowledge of Marketing and Social tools
- Sales support experience, including familiarity with order management and client relations
- Proficiency in office software and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in Italian; proficiency in English
- Prior experience in the wine industry is advantageous
