Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide.Trying something new takes courage, but the results can be so rewarding.Explore how we're creating the future of mobility and join our team of passionate professionals as Project Quality and Safety Manager!Learn more about how Alstom is creating the future of mobility and join our team in Sesto San Giovanni on this exciting journey!YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Be the interface with the Customer quality and safety teams.Establish the Project Quality plan and ensure its proper application during contract execution in accordance with the contract requirements and Alstom processes.Serve as the primary interface in the Project Team for all quality-related needs across engineering, industrial, and supplier quality.Guide project teams in understanding quality contributions to the project.Provide quality awareness and communicate planned quality activities for the project.Support project audits, reviews, and approval of vendor quality systems and compliance audits upon request.Assist project teams and the Project Manager in preparing gate reviews and following up on related action plans.Report quality and safety alerts, and manage non-conformities and safety issues raised by customers.Ensure the quality of modifications made during the project.Verify that safety assessments, such as safety reviews, are correctly implemented.Ensure all lessons learned across disciplines are considered in risk and opportunity management, and monitor to prevent issues.Coordinate with the SQ Team and sourcing to synchronize and follow up on GO production and FAI activities related to the SPL as part of RAMS.Take ownership of the Supplier Part List.Facilitate problem-solving during project execution to reduce non-quality costs (8D, REX, standards evolution).Improve the efficiency of quality teams to reduce functional costs.Support progress reporting through quality indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.YOUR PROFILE:Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.Experience in managing quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.Awareness of processes and products.Knowledge of railway industry norms and certifications is an asset.Experience in quality audits is a plus.Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM, etc.).Experience in operational activities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow’s mobility.
