Job Description Summary We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Risk & Insurance Management Intern to join our Milan office for a six‐month period, with an opportunity to extend. We're looking for an organized, proactive, and motivated individual with a passion for quantitative analysis. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to gain hands‐on experience in the renewable energy sector and in risk management, quantitative analysis, and financial modeling within a dynamic business environment. We operate with a hybrid working model. About the Role You'll be part of our Risk Management Team, working closely with our Head of Risk Management and collaborating with colleagues across Italy, UK, France, Portugal, and Spain. Main Responsibilities Support the Head of Risk and the Insurance Manager in preparing and delivering regular risk reports and presentations to top management. Contribute to the quantification of financial impacts (risks and opportunities) arising from climate change, integrating both regulatory and market perspectives. Assist in the development and enhancement of risk quantification models, with particular focus on financial performance indicators such as Net Asset Value (NAV) and EBITDA. Support quantitative analyses to define appropriate insurance coverage, including the calculation of deductibles and coverage limits. Support on insurance claims management. Support back‐office activities related to insurance renewals and premium payments. Qualifications & Requirements Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an interest in financial modeling and risk analysis. Solid knowledge of corporate finance concepts, including NAV and EBITDA. Proficiency in Excel and quantitative/analytical tools (knowledge of statistical or programming software such as Python, R, or MATLAB is a plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work regularly from our Milan office.
