Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to support our sales team in driving innovative technical engagement with partners and/or prospects.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Veeam Data Platform and datacentre experience, as well as excellent business acumen and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver and exceed revenue goals by driving technical engagement with partners and/or prospects in conjunction with the sales team.
* Demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise.
* Support pre-sales activities in assigned markets.
* BUIld technical relationships with channel partners, their customers, and eco-system partners.
* Deliver technical and sales presentations to channel partner's sales teams and directly to end-users.
* Successfully build relationships with the account team, partners, and customers.
* Lead technical sales calls and educate others.
* Qualify sales opportunities based on customer technical requirements and competition.
* Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
Key Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with Veeam Data Platform and datacentre experience.
* Driven – highly energetic with a strong hands-on, 'can-do' approach.
* Entrepreneurial – willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, and 'get it done' attitude.
* A high level of business acumen and experience working with CXO-level personnel.
* Ability to quickly learn new technologies and educate others.
* Willingness to travel for regional events and customer meetings (50% travel).
