Roland Machinery Company is a family-owned business established in 1958. It is one of the Mid-West’s leading heavy equipment dealers, representing more than twenty-five manufacturers of construction, municipal, industrial, and forestry equipment, expanding across 5 states with 17 locations.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Maintain relationships with clients by providing service, support, information, and guidance; research and recommend solutions.
2. Identify product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competition.
3. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
4. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending factory training.
5. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
6. Troubleshoot, repair, and recondition construction, municipal, and highway-related heavy equipment and components.
7. Present a favorable company image in appearance, uniform, personal conduct, and while operating a company vehicle.
8. Perform large diesel engine repairs and servicing.
9. Repair and service construction equipment hydraulic systems.
10. Repair and service construction equipment electrical systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
* High School Diploma/GED required; trade school degree or direct industry experience highly desired.
* Minimum of two (2) years of full-time heavy equipment experience required. Note: this is not a maintenance position.
* Must possess a clean driving record.
* CDL not required.
* Possess a respectable set of hand tools to perform responsibilities.
