Description
The EMEA Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter / Advisor to partner with our TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) business areas and successfully oversee recruitment end-to-end. The primary focus will be on our business areas in Italy, but you will also be working with our hiring partners across the wider EMEA region.
We are seeking a highly skilled technical recruiter (ideally Engineering) with a solution-driven mindset and the ability to develop long-term, trusted partnerships with your key business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- - Act as a trusted advisor and partner with senior leadership teams across our TIC organisation to develop robust and solution-driven hiring strategies to attract the best talent in the marketplace.
- - Through your experience and utilising tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights, you will provide targeted market intelligence to our leaders and their direct reports to help shape recruitment solutions.
- - Day-to-day you will work with our hiring managers to define their job requirements, using a detailed approach to fully understand their needs, the USPs of the role and their team, and provide them with your market expertise to shape the search for new talent.
- - You will deploy a range of techniques to attract, engage and source talent from a range of sources in the local marketplace. We want to see innovation and out of the box thinking!
- - Through your candidate screening calls, you will sell the opportunity, whilst also selling UL Solutions' core employer branding value proposition to candidates by articulating a clear and compelling message about our mission and values.
- - Drive recruitment processes end-to-end while meeting agreed SLAs for response times, candidate feedback, and hiring manager communication.
- - Ensure compliance by maintaining candidate activity in UL Solutions' Applicant Tracking System. Experience with OracleHR Cloud or similar cloud based HCM systems is a strong plus.
- - Stay up to date on the latest recruiting industry trends and tools and shares best practices with the HR team.
- - Collaborate with global TA colleagues to share knowledge, align on best practices, and contribute to wider talent acquisition initiatives such as internal mobility, early talent and referral programs.
Qualifications
- Proven technical recruitment experience, ideally within Engineering.
- Being solution-driven is key - spotting opportunities and not seeking-out problems.
- The ability to manage a busy desk, with multiple complex job requisitions simultaneously (in the region of 15-20 at any one time)
- Advanced communication skills and the ability to build and nurture close working relationships with your customers
- The gravitas to manage up to senior stakeholders is key, consistently driving a partnership model across all business areas
- Experienced in utilising a range of attraction and sourcing techniques to hire talent.
- Advanced sourcing skills, particularly with LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media channels.
- Experience of working with ATSs (Applicant Tracking Systems) with exposure to OracleHR Cloud being highly desired.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing corporate environment.
- Knowledge of the TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) industry is highly desired.
- Candidates who have experience of the engineering sector, with electrical or electronics engineering would be highly desired.
- Working knowledge of labor law in Italy and how it applies to interviewing, selection, recruitment, and on-boarding.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and in English. Candidates who can speak a 3rd language such as German, Polish or Spanish would be at a distinct advantage.
