Ph3Technical Operational Support Expert- Taranto /h3pWe are looking for an Operational Support Expert to join our Blades Process Engineering team at the Vestas factory in Taranto. These roles will support two key manufacturing areas: Handling Logistics and Finish Paint. /ppThese positions are ideal for engineers with around 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process improvement environment, who are ready to grow their careers in a global renewable energy company. /ph3Responsibilities /h3pAs an Operational Support Expert, you will work directly with the factory teams to support, analyze, and improve production processes. You will help solve day-to-day operational issues, implement improvements, and ensure that processes run efficiently and safely. /pulliSupport and improve processes in either Handling Logistics or Finish Paint areas. /liliAnalyze current operations and identify areas for improvement. /liliCreate and maintain plans for implementing improvements. /liliSupport the implementation of changes through Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) – formal documents used to manage updates to processes. /liliParticipate in or lead small improvement projects. /liliAct as a point of contact for urgent production issues, helping to solve them quickly and effectively. /liliUse structured problem-solving tools, including: 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) /liliApply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency. /liliWork closely with cross-functional teams and spend time on the factory floor to understand and resolve real issues. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar. /liliAround 2–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production support, or process improvement. /liliBasic knowledge of Lean tools and structured problem-solving (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA). /liliExperience in continuous improvement activities. /liliEnglish language skills for daily communication in an international team. /li /ulh3Competencies /h3ulliTechnical and methodological thinking. /liliMotivated approach to solving problems. /liliGood communication and cooperation skills. /liliOrganized on tasks. /liliMotivated to learn and develop in a busy production environment. /liliWilling to work directly on the factory floor to understand challenges. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliAttractive salary + bonus /liliThe opportunity to work in one of Vestas’ key blade manufacturing sites. /liliDevelopment within a global company focused on sustainability and innovation. /liliA supportive, multicultural team environment with a focus on continuous improvement. /li /ulpLocation: Vestas Blades Factory – Taranto, Italy.
