As Customer Contact your mission is to manage customer orders from data entry/receive until shipment and to keep both customer and internal production informed about the status of the orders. Taking care of the customer needs is key in this function.
You will be part of a Logistic Outbound Team and will report to the Logistics Team Leader.
You will:
1. Support the customers from all countries assigned to you with the goal to best serve them in case of inquiry before the order, checking the order entry, following up the status until shipment and invoicing of all orders, as well as system parameters maintenance
2. Plan and book the shipments with forwarders and issue relevant documents (CMR, packings, invoices, certificates, declarations for customs)
3. Keep the customer informed in case of changes compared to what promised
4. Provide all needed documents and support Finance and Marketing logistics related projects if required.
5. Service and customer minded, you build constant and stable relationship
The role requires mantaining a continuous contact with Production Planners, Marketing, Customer Centers, Logistics Partners, to ensure a high customer satisfaction and optimize operational efficiency.
Working as a team to improve the processes and contributing to the department and company’s goals. Act customer oriented by offering an excellent service and establishing a good relationship with your internal and your external customers.

Interest and experience in customer relationship, transport and export of goods is a plus.
Educational requirements
Undergraduate or graduate, Engineering or Economics is a plus.
Knowledge and personality requirements
Knowledge of Office tools, especially ExcelFluent in Italian and English, other language is advantageKnowledge of customs legislation is an advantageAnalytical mindset and relevant knowledge of and interest in logistic process.Continuous improvement is your mottoCustomer oriented establishing a good relationship with your internal and your external customersTake initiative and being "hands on" in a dynamic environment
