This is a new role built because the team in York is growing on the managed services side. There's real room to grow here as the MSP practice expands.
You’ll be the person who takes new clients from zero to fully onboarded, assessing their environment, implementing our managed services stack, documenting everything, and making sure it's locked down and running right before handing it off to the help desk team. Think of it as being the lead on the ground, not a project manager watching from a distance.
You’ll come in, evaluate the network, map out their security posture, sort out licensing, and get everything implemented cleanly. Once you’re done, you move to the next one. When things are slower, you’ll pitch in on tickets and internal projects.
RequirementsIf you’ve spent your career as an IT admin at a single company, you may not have the breadth this role needs. You’ve seen a lot of different environments, you know how to talk to clients, and you can figure things out when the situation is messy or undocumented.
LogisticsRoughly 50/50 split between client sites and the office, with sites generally within 60 minutes. You’ll have a company vehicle to take home, plus a cell phone and laptop. Some flexibility to work from home when it makes sense for your day, but this is a collaborative team that values being present.
