PpThe Release Manager for the IIAB (Insurance in a Box) program is responsible for planning, coordinating, and oversighting of all application releases and platform evolutions of IIAB, the new modular and scalable architecture for Generali Group’s insurance offering for all Lines of Business (Motor, PC and Life and Claims). /p pThe role ensures that each release is executed in a controlled, secure, and consistent manner, guaranteeing the quality of the solutions, operational continuity, and alignment with the Group’s digital transformation strategies. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the entire release lifecycle of the IIAB platform, from planning to production deployment /li liDefine and maintain the program’s release calendar, coordinating activities among global Teams, local IT, external vendors, and Business Stakeholders /li liLead go/no-go meetings to validate release readiness and ensure compliance with GOSP quality, security, and compliance standards /li liOversee deployment and post-release activities, including rollback plans, validations, and impact analysis on integrated systems /li liCollaborate with Change Management, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure efficient and traceable release processes /li liMonitor technical and functional dependencies between platform modules and across pilot and roll-out countries /li liJoin in the CAB meetings to discuss and review release scopes and/or roadblocks as needed /li liManage and communicate risks, issues, and deviations from the release schedule /li liEnsure complete and up-to-date release documentation (release notes, test plans, checklists, post-implementation reports) /li liPromote standardization and automation of release processes, in line with DevOps and CI/CD best practices /li liContribute to IIAB program governance by providing transparent reporting and insights on release progress and results to top management and stakeholders /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent /li li3–5 years of experience as a Release Manager, Delivery Manager, or Project Manager in complex or multinational environments /li liExpertise in international project management and in agile project management (possibly with certification) /liliPreferred background in Insurance and Digital Platform implementation and delivery /li liKnowledge of Agile project management /li liExperience with release management and ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps) /li liUnderstanding of API-based and cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices /li liAbility to manage IT vendors and technology partners /li liKnowledge tools of Monitoring Logging /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liFluent in English and Italian /li liAble to manage priorities, emergencies, complexity, and frequent changes /li liAbility to coordinate a team of external providers /li liExcellent organization, prioritization and time management/multi-tasking skills (comfortable in a fast-paced environment) /li liProven ability to manage multi-stream releases and operate effectively in multi-country contexts /li liStrong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management /li liStrong customer focus both in terms of development partners and end-users /li /ul h3Company Profile /h3 pGOSP provides shared services to the Group companies, with Head Office in Italy and branches in 5 European countries, a total staff of about 1.000 people. /p pGenerali Group Head Office is the guidelining unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.
