Job purpose The
IT Business Analyst (Finance, HR & Compliance)
serves as a strategic bridge between the Finance, Human Resources, and Quality departments and the IT function. This role is responsible for optimizing, implementing, and managing information systems that support Administration, Finance, and Control (AFC) processes, human capital management, and GxP-compliant training. The candidate will ensure that digital solutions (including the upcoming
Workday
rollout) align with business objectives and compliance requirements, managing the full IT project lifecycle within their scope.
Main responsibilities: Process Analysis & Digitalization:
Analyze existing workflows within Finance and HR departments to identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, and operational efficiency. HCM Implementation & Support:
Actively support the implementation, configuration and future maintenance of the new HCM tool (Workday), ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and HR data integrity. Finance Systems Management:
Oversee and maintain systems for Administration, Finance, and Control, ensuring smooth financial closing processes, reporting, and financial monitoring. Training Systems:
Manage and implement the GMP Training system, ensuring training traceability complies with industry regulatory standards. Requirements Gathering:
Translate the needs of key stakeholders (Finance & HR Managers, into detailed technical specifications, specifically creating and maintaining User Requirements Specifications (URS). Project Management:
Act as the IT Project Manager or primary liaison with external software vendors and consultancy firms. Change Management & Training:
Manage system Change Controls and organize/deliver training sessions for end-users on Workday and Finance tools.
Education & Experience: Bachelor in Management Engineering, Finance/Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. At least
5 years of experience
in similar roles, focusing on ERP (Finance), HCM and Payroll systems. Deep understanding of HR processes (preferably on the
Workday
platform) and Finance workflows. Proficiency in Agile or Waterfall Project Management methodologies. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Soft & Other Skills: Ability to break down complex problems into logical, scalable IT solutions. Capable of communicating effectively with both technical IT profiles and business stakeholders. Precision-driven with the ability to meet deadlines in high-stakes regulatory environments. Good negotiation skills to balance priorities across different users. xpavfwm
