This position will be a key member of the New product development Team. As a member of this team, you will be shaping the future of Datalogic’s success in Industrial market.
Role Mission:
The Program Manager will report to Program Management Leader and will work within Business Unit Team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ensuring project deliverables’ alignment to Business Goals through the adoption of adequate processes and tools,
2. contributing to ensure project compliance with Budget and Timing constraints,
3. fostering cross-functional collaboration across teams and securing Stakeholder Buy-in towards Business Goals;
4. contributing to the improvement of Projects’ Performance and facilitating decision making through an effective Governance and fact-based reporting;
Main activities:
5. Manage and lead a Program Core team, consisting of representatives across all functions within the organization.
6. Oversee scope, plans, schedules and budgets to ensure objectives are accomplished within the required time frame, budget and product cost parameters. Must demonstrate ownership and leadership to get the job done.
7. Manage Program from concept initiation to full production delivery, interfacing with internal/external customers.
8. Manage a hybrid program using the most fittable methodology.
9. Create, plan and manage program budgets.
10. Create and manage program schedules.
11. Organize program activities and interdepartmental meetings, fostering seamless collaboration and integration across potentially siloed vertical knowledge centers of competence.
12. Effectively communicate the overarching business strategy and strategic vision to both the project team and key stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of objectives.
Requirements:
13. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or in other Scientific Area) or in Economics/Management
14. Languages: Italian; English Fluent
15. Experience: A proven track record of successfully implementing projects including 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, time critical and significantly complex projects in a high-tech industry (Hardware / Software) with multi-function teams. Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including R&D, Marketing, Finance, Quality, Operation, Service. Understanding of software development life cycle models both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
