The ideal candidate will negotiate the best purchasing conditions (cost, quality, timing) for primary and secondary packaging, based on procurement strategy, following established methods, tools, and policies. She / He will be responsible for proposing the best packaging solutions in response to customer briefs and placing purchase orders with suppliers. She / He will oversee the project from initial quotation to market launch, ensuring compliance with logistics and quality standards. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, she / he will be accountable for: Sourcing specific packaging related to customer projects based on sales requests, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and timing requirements. Negotiating packaging costs with suppliers and placing purchase orders for market launch once the project is secured. Collaborating with the Marketing Team to update existing packaging and improve proposals through innovation. Participating in supplier evaluation processes regarding technical and commercial relations. Supporting the Quality Department in managing non-conformities. Skills required: Degree in a technical or economic discipline. Fluent in English; knowledge of French or other languages is a plus. Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role or project management. Proficiency in Office tools (especially Excel) and project management software. Good interpersonal skills, cooperative approach, and teamwork orientation. Effective communication skills and ability to synthesize information. Strong workload planning, deadline adherence, prioritization, and stress management skills. Ability to search for information, flexibility, adaptability, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with a high sense of responsibility, confidentiality, ethics, tact, and diplomacy. Ability to read technical drawings. Availability to travel occasionally within Italy and abroad.
