Required Skills:
1. Perform excavation operations using trench cutters, operating specialized complex machinery safely and appropriately, also considering risks related to the working environment, in compliance with company procedures and project specifications, ensuring the required quality standards.
2. Set up and operate the assigned equipment efficiently in order to minimize wear and downtime, ensuring the required productivity.
3. Ensure compliance with project specifications and technical requirements.
4. Assess and mitigate risks related to the use of equipment within the work environment.
5. Inform the supervisor of any QHSE-related violations.
6. Ensure the safe operation and productivity of the machine.
7. Prepare daily reports on machine productivity.
8. Manage and maintain all assigned equipment.
9. Support the supervisor in departmental activities.
10. Knowledge of onboard instrumentation functions and comparison with direct measurement methods (depth, deviations, .
11. Knowledge of the Method Statement, project quality standards, and ability to complete quality control checklists.
12. Competence in evaluating the quality of drilling fluid and requesting any necessary corrections.
13. Skill in positioning equipment (layout, direction, machine stability, use of steel plates).
14. Competence in selecting appropriate pressures, thrust, and torque, as well as cutter wheel rotation speed and proper descent rate.
15. Ability to choose appropriate pressures, thrust, and torque, cutter wheel rotation speed, and descent rate.
16. Skill in checking verticality and carrying out any corrective actions.
17. Ability to perform routine maintenance and complete maintenance logs.
