* Overall responsibility for the further expansion of business activities in Italy with a direct reporting line to the German headquarter
* Establishment, development and later on management of a sales team in Italy
* Independent development and maintenance of business contacts in the area of Trade and Distribution partners
* Development and support of direct customers from the industrial and OEM sectors
* Independently carrying out product presentations and contract negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract
* Carrying out market and potential analyses for the applications of the group's products in new markets
* Pricing strategy in cooperation with product management and Global Sales
* Participation in relevant trade fairs and events
Your background:
* Completed technical or business studies or practical career with relevant professional experience
* Relevant experience in sales management in a technically complex environment, ideally within industrial measurement technology, hydraulics, pumps, gears, motors, valves, xjrgpwk sensors, etc.
* Totally independent way of working
* Empathetic leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
* Strong affinity for technical details
* Fluent in English and Italian
