What You Will Be Doing:
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, safety, and upkeep of all hotel facilities. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our property.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the overall maintenance and technical operations of the hotel
* Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities
* Supervise external contractors and service providers
* Manage the maintenance budget and control departmental expenses
* Ensure optimal performance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
* Monitor and report on energy consumption (electricity, water, gas)
* Procure materials and manage technical inventory
* Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Has proven experience in a similar role within hospitality (Chief Engineer / Maintenance Manager / Assistant)
* Has strong technical expertise (electrical or mechanical background preferred)
* Is familiar with Italian regulations and safety standards
* Demonstrates xjrgpwk a hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
* Has strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Is fluent in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus)
* Is eligible to work in Italy
* Is preferably already based in the Courmayeur/Aosta Valley region or nearby areas (strongly preferred)
