The Lead Auditor is responsible for leading a team to conduct audits and assessments in compliance with DNV standards, international standards, or similar national standards. These audits should be in accordance with established DNV methodologies and rules. This position has continuous, ongoing recruitment efforts for current and future openings. What you’ll do: Plan and execute audits, report findings, and follow up within agreed time scales and economic frameworks. Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas. Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel. Carry out work efficiently and competently for DNV as required by instructions, Quality System, or formal agreement. Contact customers to confirm planned activities. Ensure the independence of the DNV scheme is maintained at all times. Maintain or acquire Auditor Registration with DNV or equivalent for Lead Auditor acceptance. Contribute to a positive work environment to maintain high morale. Act as a team player, guiding others through professional development, reviews, and goal setting. Maintain effective communication with management, team members, and clients. Ensure proper use of auditing tools and communication of updated data for certificate management. The F&B Lead Auditor reports to the Lead Auditor Coordinator Food & Beverage. Strong organizational skills. Availability to travel within Italy and occasionally abroad. People management skills. Proficient in Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
