We are looking for a full-time Senior Development Engineer to join our R&D department.
The role involves research, design, and evaluation of products and components, modifications of products and processes to meet new requirements, applying engineering principles, and ensuring conformance with specifications.
This position requires interaction with all departments, international colleagues, external consultants, and doctors/surgeons.
The person will report to the Product Development Director.

Responsibilities:
1. Participate in defining design criteria and performance requirements for new and modified products.
2. Investigate, evaluate, analyze, and test competitor products to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements.
3. Design new concepts/products from 3D modeling to final drawings, following the product development process (Concept, Architecture, Prototype, Product Release).
4. Perform modeling and FEA simulations to understand and develop the structural aspects of the product.
5. Coordinate with outsourced engineering services for design and simulation activities.
6. Test or coordinate testing of models/products, develop test plans, protocols, and reports.
7. Oversee initial use of products in cadaver labs and surgeries to ensure performance according to specifications.
8. Investigate product failures and develop corrective actions.
9. Collaborate during the product development process on risk analysis, design for manufacturing, project planning, quality, and regulatory activities.
Education and Business Skills:
* Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechatronics.
* 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience with Electromedical devices is preferred.
* Knowledge of engineering science, design techniques, and ISO60601 standards.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
