We are looking for a Material Planner to join our Planning area in our Home & Personal Care unit based in Nova Milanese, near Milan, Italy.
This position is crucial for Bolton because Material Planner daily support the organization by collaborating with several Departments, such as Logistics, Supply Planning, Finance & Administration, Quality.
Responsibilities:
* Analyze material requirements based on production schedules to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and avoiding shortages or overstock situations.
* Monitor the status of Purchase Orders, interface with suppliers and contractors to share required documentation for material acceptance.
* Coordinate with suppliers to confirm lead times, order quantities, and resolve issues related to delays or non-conformities.
* Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse and Production teams to ensure alignment on material availability and priorities.
* Enter and maintain material master data in the ERP system, by completing all relevant planning fields for raw and packaging material codes.
Your Profile:
* Education: graduate student in Economics or Management Engineering.
* Technical Skills: proficient with the main IT tools such as Qliksense, SAP, AFO, MDG, Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
* Local language: proficient in Italian and English
